Voodoo Cave Pavilion

A user-centered spacial design project

Overview

Project

This schematic streetcar pavilion connects users to Voodoo’s organic origins, its overlooked beauty, and its roots in the natural world. As users walk through an immersive cave, the space will challenge their perceptions of voodoo as a dark and evil taboo through abstracted shadow and light projections inspired by voodoo traditions.

Question

How might a streetcar pavilion provide comfort, accessibility, and entertainment for streetcar users and visitors, enticing them to use it as a primary source of transportation?

Impact

Project was selected for Tulane Design Showcase Award 🏆

Programming Analysis
